Faith Voinovich is a Principal at Ohio Innovation Fund where she serves as a key member of the investment team.
Since joining OIF in 2018, Faith has led investments spun out of top research institutions including Invirsa and Clarametyx, assisted companies in raising tens of millions in follow-on funding, provided reverse due diligence and other exit-related analyses for numerous M&A transactions (Stirling Ultracold, Complion, Able), and served in a variety of board, board observer, and board advisor roles, including at Invirsa, Clarametyx, Genetesis, DatAnchor, ScriptDrop, Complion, Afference, and Stirling Ultracold (BioLife Solutions, NASDAQ: BLFS).
Prior to OIF, Faith spent time as a Stanford University Innovation Fellow and was the Team Lead at CoLab, a space built to foster creativity, innovation, and entrepreneurship on Ohio University’s Athens campus. In addition to her investment work, Faith is passionate about making venture capital more accessible, especially to demographics underrepresented across the industry. In addition to leading OIF’s Student Experience Program (SEP) where she’s responsible for 100+ student interactions a year, Faith is a Founding Mentor of the National Venture Capital Association’s Venture Forward program, Investor Swarm Mentor for gBETA (a Gener8tor accelerator), and College Coach for Breakthrough New York.
Faith holds her BS in Chemical Engineering from the Russ College of Engineering at Ohio University where she attended as a Cutler Scholar.
